About HerRx

HerRx was born out of pain, perseverance, faith — and a deep calling to change the way women are seen, heard, and healed.

I am a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner, but before I was a provider, I was a patient.

My journey began with abnormal uterine bleeding. Heavy, irregular periods that disrupted my life, my confidence, and my peace. When I sought help, I was told it was “normal.” I was told it was just a “natural side effect” of birth control. I was reassured, dismissed, and encouraged to accept what my body was clearly telling me was not right.

But deep down, I knew something was wrong.

So I advocated for myself.

My first imaging came back “normal.” Again, I was told everything was fine.

Still, my symptoms continued. Still, my intuition spoke louder.

I advocated once more — and this time, the truth was revealed.

Uterine fibroids.

When I received the diagnosis, I was devastated. I felt broken. Unworthy. Betrayed by my own body. I entered a quiet depression, mourning not only my health, but the way my concerns had been overlooked. I began to question my womanhood, my fertility, my future.

But in that broken place, something extraordinary happened.

God met me there.

And in that season of pain, He revealed purpose.

Instead of staying in despair, I leaned into faith, healing, and knowledge. I began to read — relentlessly. I researched the genetics of fibroids, environmental toxins, hormonal imbalances, inflammatory pathways, prevention strategies, and herbal medicine. I studied the connection between what we eat, what we absorb, what we carry emotionally, and how our wombs respond.

That journey led me to enroll in a Doctor of Functional Medicine program, because I no longer wanted to simply manage symptoms — I wanted to understand the root cause of disease.

I immersed myself in holistic medicine, ancestral healing practices, and evidence-based natural therapies. I began formulating my own herbal blends and wellness remedies, carefully combining science with nature, tradition with modern medicine.

And slowly… my body began to heal.

Today, my periods are lighter. Shorter. Regular. Pain-free.

No cramps. No dread.

What was once a time of fear and suffering has become a time of peace, gratitude, and even joy.

HerRx is the result of that transformation.

HerRx exists for the woman who has been told “it’s normal” when it’s not.

For the woman who feels unheard, dismissed, or overlooked.

For the woman who knows her body deserves more than temporary fixes and silent suffering.

We believe in root-cause healing.

We believe in combining medical science with holistic wisdom.

We believe in honoring the womb as sacred.

And we believe every woman deserves to understand her body, trust her intuition, and reclaim her wellness.
